The library had been too crowded. Pheonix had entered and found at least ten or more students roaming through the stacks. She had scoffed at the site. Normally the place was dead, but of course the one day she really wanted it like that it wasn't. Her luck just seemed to suck today. For instance her whole day started with her tripping out of bed and whacking her head on her nightstand. What a way for the day to begin. She still had a small bump on her forehead, but thankfully the redness had gone down and her hair flopped over it to hide it.
She had decide upon seeing the library so full to just check out a few books and go find a nice empty room to settle herself in. That was exactly what she did too. So now Pheonix sat on a wide stone window sill in one of the old second floor classrooms. An book was laid open in her lap and her wand was in her hand. She had it pointed at a chair and she was reading an incantation to herself before saying it out loud.
"Cuniculus!" She held her breath and watched as the chair shuddered and morphed. It took a minute and then with a pop a rabbit appeared where the chair had been, nose twitching curiously. Pheonix chuckled and hopped off the sill, scooping up the book and putting it in her place. She then walked over to the rabbit and inspected it - or tried to as it started running off. "Stupify!" It stopped midair and she turned it around. "Hmm, not bad..." She said slowly as she checked to make sure no part of it looked like a chair still.
It didn't so with a smirk she turned on the rest of the chairs in the room and with a flick called out, "Cunicula!" All the chairs shuddered at the same time and scrapped over the stone floor. Some hit the desk and the room was filled with a racket. She watched as twenty rabbits dropped from the air before her eyes. She laughed and put her hands on her hips in triumph. "I wonder..." Pheonix muttered and then with another flick of her wand the door opened. She gently prodded one rabbit and a chain reaction occured which lead to at least six making their way at it before she stopped paying attention and returned to her book - wondering what else she could do with it.

Jonnie was happy to escape the crowds of people that had been running around, most acting like typical First Years lost, and dumbfounded by the things he found completely familiar. He found it sad, and could not recall having acted so poorly when he was a First Year. Happy that it was years in his past, he turned a corner to see a most peculiar sight. There were rabbits bouncing out of one of the classroom. Raising his eyebrows Jonnie crept forward, missing one as he stepped over. He watched it bounce out of his way as he turned almost on top of another one. Obviously someone was mating rabbits in that room.
How else could these be here?
Glancing in the door first, not sure he wanted to enter making himself known to whomever may be in the room, Jonnie's eyes lit up. A smile played on his lips and he had no doubt now who was in the room. He put a hand over his mouth to hold in a laugh as he shoo-ed away another rabbit with his foot. He leaned against the door way and watched Pheonix read her book.
"So this is what your plans are for next year? Going to open a pet store are we? maybe even in Diagon Alley no less? Rabbits the only thing we are going to bred for sell. 'Eh, Pheonix?" His smile was genuine as he looked on his friend.
He knew her well, as the two had been sorted out of the same year. She in Ravenclaw, he in Slytherin. At first it was an uneasy, unsure friendship between the two. As rivals early on, neither of them would give an inch to the other. Always trying to out do each other in classes. Jonnie had pulled a detention for passing a note that was meant for his girlfriend Rosalie, but landed on Pheonix's desk. Their Professor had mistaken it to be a note for the Ravenclaw, and promptly gave Jonnie and his 'girlfriend' Pheonix a detention. The two ended up pulling a doubt detention because they had not been able to stop from laughing so hard at the thought.
And as the saying goes, friends ever since; friends ever more. Jonnie smile at his fellow student as the fond memory danced in his head.

Pheonix was just reading up a spell that would paint the castle walls in polka dots when she heard a familiar voice from the door of the classroom. Her smirk widened and she shook her head at the words. She turned toward Jonnie and gave him a feigned exasperated look. "Come now Jonnie. You know me better than that I would hope. Am I really a pet store girl?"
"Heavens no! These rabbits are going to be the army that overtakes the Ministry so I can claim Ministress of Magic for myself. Duh." She looked haughty a moment and then broke into a short fit of laughter. She picked up a rabbit by her foot and cradled it in her arms. "I was actually just practicing some transfiguration. Aren't these the cutest chairs you've ever seen?" She pet the rabbit on the nose and then let it jump down to the floor again.
"I've gotten pretty d*mn good at mass Transfiguration. Don't you think? I was going to try some things on ickle firsties, but then I thought that might be too traumatic for them. We want them coming back next year when they're less... firstie-like, now don't we? Afterall, we won't have to deal with them next year." Phee winked and took a seat on one of the desk tops. "I thought - last year, a little harmless fun would do me good. Not that we haven't had our share of fun these past six."
"So what are you up to?" She asked, pondering over her wand and glancing at her ex-rival. She could remember a lot of stupid detentions they had shared in past years. How they had disliked eachother at first... but things got better. She still had moments where she felt very competitive with the boy - but she silenced those thought more easily now. Afterall - she was so much better in her mind than he was. She shouldn't worry about a lowly Slytherin.
She had to giggle at her own thoughts. No, they were on good terms now because Pheonix saw him as an equal, or as close to as she would get. Sometimes she could get a little full of herself. With all due right. She was fantastic! She smirked and dropped her wand hand to her side. "How's that peach of yours?" She asked, refering of course to Rosalie. "Haven't bruised her yet? I thought she would have dumped your foolish arse a while ago," Pheonix teased him.

Jonnie smiled and gently moved a 'chair' out of his way as he walked into the room. He smiled at her, wondering how the hell she had done so well in transfiguration while he completely flubbed the subject. He, honestly, doubted he could change his own pants with a wand. But, charms, that was where he always took the top notch. He enjoyed being utterly, and completely... charming. He returned her laugh, for a different reason.
"You know Rosie, she is always a peach. Has yet to dump me, more than once a week. But, no seriously, all is well. Been thinking of bigger plans for next year, if you follow." He of course was referring to their exit of the school upon graduation. It was no secret that Jonnie belonged totally to Rosalie. Even the first years knew this little bit of knowledge. He thought of the first years for a moment.
"Oh, no having fun with the first years and traumatizing them sounds perfectly fine to me. If they come back next year, I will be no where around to see it. At least I hope," he added the last part on seriously considering the profession of a teacher for all of three seconds. "No, not returning." The last added with a softer whisper.
He shook his head and leaned against the wall, not wanting to sit on anything that possibly was not a chair. He sat looked to his friend, and smiled.
"So, how was your Summer? Break any hearts?" She had always been a looker this one. Too clever for her own good, but a looker non the less. He folded his arms across his chest and wondered what Rosalie was doing at that moment. His thoughts never strayed too far from her, as it had been since the day they were sorted into Slytherin together.

She nearly snorted as he said Rosalie had yet to dump him more than once a week. Phee refrained though and just gave him a smile while she shook her head. "Glad to hear that. I do feel bad for her though. I don't know why on Earth she keeps you around. You're such a.... mess." She casually pointed her wand at him and swished it once to make his hair stand on end. "Pfft. I so rock at this." She mentioned, refering to her silent charms work.
"I never thought I'd get this good and now being a seventh year and really being able to do all this... It's really amazing. Of course I'm sure you know what I mean. You're one of the few people who compares to me in Charms." She would never say best. She would never admit anyone could best her at anything. They merely... had more practice. Maybe that was her biggest problem. She thought so very highly of herself, but she didn't outright flaunt it at least. She subtly hinted, but she wasn't a jerk.
Phee hated people who always only talked about themselves and how great they were. At least people who were completely serious about it. She liked to joke, but only joke if she said anything at all. Otherwise she just kept it to herself. Pheonix chuckled as Jonnie paused and then confirmed that he would not be coming back. "I have thought about becoming a teacher here, but I hate watching people fail at things unless it's a competition I'm taking part in. I get very bent out of shape. Especially if I can do it easily. I should work on that..."
"Nah, too lazy." She chortled (pfft love that word. too funny).
Jonnie asked about her summer and if she broke any hearts. "Oh tons. You know me." She rolled her eyes. "No, just Kinnely's. I kicked him out of my house every day this summer. My sister kept letting him in. I can tolerate him, but only for so long. Then we start fighting and.. bah. Other than that I stayed home most of the summer and worked on my plans for world domination. You know, the usual."
"What about yours? I didn't hear anything about places blowing up or anything... I was quite surprised with you out there. Not that I would ever say you had a tendency for botching anything up..." She flashed her pearly whites at him. "You'd never botch a job." She said semi-sarcastically. She had been known to mess things up too before, but she still enjoyed joking about the mishaps of others sometimes. She didn't even mind joking about her own messes - but only in the presence of close friends.

Jonnie laughed slightly and opened his mouth to speak, when someone new walked into the room. He thought it was becoming a trend for people to be getting away from the crowds. He thought about Rosalie and wondered where she might be at the moment. She was going to be meeting him later, and if he did not catch up to her, he would find her in the common room that night. We glanced to his friend, and then looked to the new comer.
He was slightly surprised to find a Gryffindor looking at him. Most of them usually just went on about their business and did not bother with Jonnie, him being one of the oldest Slytherin in the school. He smirked slightly wondering if he should play with this girl. He wanted to, but then decided to be nice. After all there would be plenty of time to play later. With another glance to Pheonix he smiled brightly.
"Ittle Bunnies seem to like you, um." He walked forward and leaned down to look at the girl. "What did you say your name was? I think I must have missed it." Jonnie smiled at her and showed genuine interest, or at least he hoped he did.
Maybe it might be useful to have someone from THAT house be a friend. Information purposes and all. He thought quickly, hoping Phoenix would catch on to what he was doing. Jonnie bent and scooped up a rabbit and began to pet it.

Phee waited for Jonnie to reply, but he became distracted as someone new walked in the door. The older Ravenclaw looked over at the girl and scanned her up and down. She seemed to be a Gryffindor and probably a bit younger, but she wasn't too young - like a first year or such. The girl held one of the transfigured chairs in her arms and asked if Phee and Jonnie knew that the rabbits were hopping off.
Jonnie turned on his charm and Pheonix had to turn away to hide a smirk for a moment. She then turned back, her smirk a smile now and she nodded briefly. "Aye. I know they are. That's sort of the point actually." She wondered what this girl thought of the occasional harmless prank. Phee leaned back on the desk and crossed her legs as she brushed some pale blonde hair from her eyes. "I think they deserve a little freedom after being cooped up in this room for who knows how long."
Probably a few centuries. The furniture at Hogwarts was very old. Very old indeed. And that classroom had been empty for years when Pheoniz was a first year. Hogwarts had many unused classrooms and she wondered why the founders made so many when there were few classes taught. Certainly the curriculum had grown since they built the place and some more rooms were needed now that had previously been, but... even so they had to have a hundred empty rooms minimum.
Far too appealing to pranksters such as Pheonix.
"I'm Pheonix Kingston by the way. You've probably heard of me. I get around." She said, laughing to herself at her own words. "Ravenclaw - or Ravenpwn as it should be called. Ask Jonnie, he'll tell you." Phee snickered and hopped off the desk she was on to move to one closer to the other two. "Right, Jonnie? I mean afterall, it has me in it!" She propped herself on the new desk casually and pulled one knee up to lean her chin on. "But... no. The other houses are good too. You're in Gryffindor, right?"
((ick. sorry that was such crap.))

Jonnie hid his smile behind clever eyes as he looked over to Phee, and caught her eyes. He paused for a moment, thinking of how they were the most amazing blue color he had ever seen. Something tinged within him briefly as he thought this, and wondered what on Earth it could be. Several what-ifs came to his mind as he looked at her. He must have looked for entirely too long a pause because he found himself flustered slightly as she began to talk to him again. He could only hope to cover that confusing moment up behind his charming Jonnie Ringo style. But he was slightly perplexed and decided he would think about what that had meant for a few moments later that day.
Jonnie laughed lightly, and entirely fake laugh to those that would know him. Almost too highly amused by someone, or what someone said. As soon as Pheonix looked away from him the smile faded, and the laugh stopped to be replaced with a brief look of perplex-ion.Jonnie quickly replaced that with the charm again, but his eyes would go back to Phenoix often.
"So you see there, Ms.... Um, Gryffindor, the rabbits you hold, no matter who cute they may seem, are indeed old wooden chairs. Is that not just a riot?" Jonnie laughed the fake laugh, his eyes falling on Phee one more time before he turned away to go stand before an old window that looked way down upon the grounds below them.

Jonnie thought the idea of grades was amusing. He smiled and tilted his head as he decided to lean against the wall. He glanced to Pheonix who was being unusually quiet and then back to Tant.
"I am in year Seven dear, what year are you in? I apologize for not recognizing you, I am sure we have ran into each other at other times in our school career. I just have a bad memory for these sort of things." He nodded to her and looked at all the rabbits that were bouncing hither and yon. He crossed his arms over his chest and glanced again at Pheonix.

Things seemed to be going well. The girl was disappointed, but not over reacting to the news that the rabbits were fake. The only problem seemed to be the fake laugh and forced smile Jonnie had suddenly put on. She may not always be the most observant, but she had caught that.
She raised an eyebrow as he went to stand at the window and sighed. 'What's up with him suddenly?' She asked herself before turning back to Tant. "Thank you. I'm quite pleased with the outcome. I've been practicing my mass transfiguration techniques a lot lately. This was the test of how good I had become and it turned out well."
As Tant asked what year Jonnie was Pheonix looked to him too. She wasn't curious about his year. He was the same year as her - seventh. However she was still curious as to the reasoning behind his previous.. odd behavior. She wanted to see if he was going to continue acting awkward. It was... worrying her to say the least. She wanted to ask him what was up, but with Tant in the room she felt perhaps he wouldn't want to explain. So later. Later she would ask him what was with the sudden mood changes and such.
For now she put on a smile and said. "Well... in my own opinion Jonnie would be most suited for a first year status... ok maybe second. I'll be nice." She stuck her tongue out at him playfully.

Jonnie rolled his eyes at Pheonix and looked away back to Tant. He remained against the wall wondering why the girl was still holding the chair, but then again he did not really care. He was growing tired of the questions, and walked over to were Pheonix was standing. He glanced out the window then over to his old friend.
"So, what are we going to do about those Gryffindors this year? I hear they have a smashing good beater, but the brooms they are using are so out of date. Still got that secret plan brewing?" He of course was making a bunch of stuff up, like Jonnie usually did, and he knew that Phee would catch on quickly as she always did. A soft smile played on his lips as he looked back to Tant.
"You a big fan of the Quidditch Tant?" He had let the smile return to his lips, his voice running a soft charming pattern as it usually did when he wanted information from someone. He glanced to Phee and almost dropped a wink, but did not need to. He knew her well enough to know she knew Jonnie's games inside and out.

She watched as Jonnie walked back and seemed to be acting more normal. A good sign. He started speaking, talking about Gyffindors and a secret plan. Lucky for him Pheonix caught on quick and she smirked as he asked how the plan was coming along. "Smashing beater or not, we've got the cup in the bag. You shouldn't be talking about our plan in front of a Gryffindor though. Jeeze, Jonnie. What's gotten into that head of yours? Though I will say it's coming along..." Pheonix glanced at Tant and then back to Jonnie. "Well."
He asked Tant if she liked Quidditch and Pheonix brushed some hair from her eyes to give the girl an intense look. "I don't many people who dislike the sport. I myself love the game. The all witch team, The Holyhead Harpies - by far my favorite. They kick arse. One day I think I'd like to play for them... if I don't become Ministress of Magic or something like that. World domination takes precedence of course."
"You know, you should try playing sometime, or have you before maybe? If you're going to try out for the team though I suggest waiting until next year. This year's games will be brutal because we want to win and we're going to play in a way that will make sure of it." She leaned back on the desk and gave a brilliant smile to the younger girl, one that Jonnie could easily read as more of a smirk since he knew her so well.
((Ack sorry. I did that rather poorly, but I was supposed to be off twenty minutes ago >.>))

Jonnie smirked and glanced to Phee, it was obvious they had made Tant speechless, so her turned from the Gryffindor to look to his friend. He leaned over closer to where she was and whispered in her ear. His words were soft as to not be overheard by anyone listening, namely Tant, who just seemed to stand there and do nothing.
"So really, what is new with you?" He was curious, because as playful and open as Pheonix was, she seemed to be thinking of other things at the moment. Probably like Jonnie was with the girl he had met before the term started. He knew his relationship was serious, and this was not something he had shared with her just yet. But her knowing him like she did, would probably give that away soon anyway.
His hand lifted to touch the charm on his necklace as he thought those thoughts. He smiled softly, his own thoughts going away slightly as he looked to his friend, then looked out the window. It was a nice day, and again he could not help but feel confined by being back to school, these walls seemed to keep him from doing the things he wanted to do. But this was his last term, so it would not be a long wait.
He turned to touch the window, as he thought this. Almost absently.
~Sorry so short, Tant seems to have disappeared~
