My parentsd hated me because I wasn't sorted into Slytherin, even worse than Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw, I was sorted into Gryffindor, and my parents started to realise that they'd lost their hold on me. I was eleven and my parents hated me, I dealt with it by rebelling, at school and at home. When I was sixteen I moved out. So I know what that's like." He was breathing heavily now, with anger and frustration, at his parents and because she just wouldn't listen.

"If they had died that night, Peter would have told the world that I had bratrayed Lily and James. I would be in Azkaban right now, I don't even think they'd have given me a trial.
