So there's this fanfiction that's on livejournal that one or two people are in love with.
Actually, that's a huge understatement. Hundreds of people drool over this fanfiction--but it's not JUST a fanfiction. It's riddled with fanart, too. Making it a fan...masterpiece.
There are two girls that work on it: the author and the artist. They don't update very often, but when they do, it's like Christmas has come early and Santa's given you every toy from the shop. Like you tear open the presents and find everything you could ever possibly want.
But enough of my rambling--it's called The Shoebox Project and it's amazing. It's more than amazing--after I read it (twice) I picked up my guitar and wrote my first (okay okay second) and last wizard rock song. THAT should tell you how utterly indescribably good it was. It drives fans to do things they usually wouldn't do.
Simply go to google, type in "shoebox project", and you will find it. It's on livejournal officially, but there's a fansite that converted the entire thing thus far into PDF format...which is like two or three google results below the livejournal and may be better because all the pictures will be there.
