Sirius strolled down the street of Hogsmeade wishing he had rememberd to owl Dumbledore and check when the Hogsmeade dates were for this year. He knew seeing all the excited third years running around should make him laugh, knowing that he used to be like that too. Today however he wanted to peruse the shops in peace. He couldn't believe how long it was since he had visited Hogwarts or Hogsmeade when he thought about it, and had decided to go and visit the village then take wander up the school to have a chat with Albus and a couple of the other professors, especially the Flying professor and Quidditch referee, whom he was planning to give half price tickets to his next match against the Wimbourne wasps.
Sirius stopped when Zonko's came into view, it was so packed that kids were queuing to get in the doors. Sighing and deciding to give up his prank shop as a bad job, he turned tail and entered the three Broom sticks, where he was greeted by a smiling faced Madam Rosmerta.
"Firewhiskey and Pumkin juice, and make it a long single. I've got practise this evening." he said sliding onto a bar stool.
"I must say, I find it very strange serving you liqueur Mr black, i remember your first Hogsmeade trip, you had when ten butter beers in the space of an hour?" she said with a laugh, she had always harboured a soft spot for him, and she could often be heard proudly stating that 'she knew that Pettigrew boy was up to no good.' Sirius laughed.
"Yeah something like that." he said as he glanced around at the people in the pub, most of them older students who had seen the other delights Hogsmeade had to offer and were happy to sit here with their friends, and talk about things they would have talked about in the common room or their dorms, if it wasn't a Hogsmeade weekend.

A lovely Saturday in Hogsmeade. Pheonix was making the most of it for sure. Of course the first place she had gone was Honeydukes to pick up some candy for the long week ahead. She then manipulated her way into Zonko's by casually imposing her age on the younger children. She wasn't about to wait in that huge line for one item. A lovely wand that turned into a fish when waved and otherwise held no use.
She quickly got out of the suffocating crowds of Zonko's though in favor of the Three Broomsticks, a local pub. She pushed open the door to see numerous faces she knew in conversation with each other. A few looked over and she smiled, waving to them. She made her way to a couple tables where people she was closer to sat. She had a few short conversations with them before turning toward the bar to grab a drink.
It was then that she saw him. Sitting at the bar and chatting with Madame Rosmerta was a handsome and charming devil of a boy, Sirius Black. He was several years older than her, but she could still remember the first time she had seen him. He had been doing some sort of prank, she couldn't remember the details of it, but she remembered it was a prank none the less. She had been twelve maybe. She had thought he was extremely cute and since she loved pranks she was intrigued.
It had been the start of one long crush that still tugged at her heart even now as her eyes swept over his form upon the wooden bar stool. She hadn't seen him since he graduated a few years ago. During that time she had thought she had gotten over him completely, but obviously not. Thankfully she had gotten a bit more experience with boys since then and she was more confident. She brushed platinum blonde lockes from her cerulean eyes as she moved forward and slid onto the stool beside him. "As handsome as ever, Black." She said curtly.
She ordered a butterbeer from Madame Rosmerta who promptly planted one before her. She grinned at the woman and took a long draw of her drink. "I don't know if you remember me... it's been a while." She chuckled to herself, like she alone was privy to some random joke. Except it was nothing really. She was just reliving some interesting memories. "I wonder, have you been up to anything good since graduating? Mischief, mayhem, a job?" She raised an eyebrow and glanced at him before continuing around the rom with her gaze.

Sirius looked around as someone spoke to him, as they sat down on the stool next to his. He saw the startlingly blue eyes, and Platinum blonde hair of a younger girl he remembered being a few years below him at Hogwarts, four if remembered correctly. He grinned, he was sure this wasn't some first year fan-gilr who had never had the guts to do more than blush when he walked past, she looked to old to only have been a first year when he left, she must have been a third year, and some of them were over confident. Looking more intently at her when she continued to speak to him, he decided that she was somewhat familiar to him. She must have been a third year, he didn't remember any of the second or first years from his last year at Hogwarts. He tried to place her, so as not to seem rude by not knowing who she was.
"Well I'd guess you're a Seventh year, as I wouldn't remember anyone below that now. I recall your face, but can't put a name to it sorry. It really has been a long time." He listened to her question, Mischief, he pondered for a moment, no mischief unfortunately, there wasn't much opportunity for pranking any more, although he had decided that by the end of the season he would have pranked all his fellow team members, and possibly the coach, just to keep things fun, and keep people on their toes. "I've had a job for quite a while now, although it's only recently been made full time. I was only a reserve till before last match, you probably haven't heard though. I'm a Beater for the Tornadoes."
