Snickering at his admittance. "Well I know that, I just didn’t want you to feel left out" she teased, "You need a bit more than a toaster and a telephone love, honestly do you even know what a toaster is?" she asked, happy for the effort but curious as to what he had planned with a toaster and a telephone. "You cant exhaust yourself from making juice silly." She said making a face at him. “I’ll get a bunch of fruits, the healthier I eat the better for the baby in the long run”. Grinning at him mischievously, she ran across his flat stomach "Aww is Regsie Wegsie practicing to be a mommy? He has cravings and mood swings, you’d make quite the pregnant woman love." she teased.
"Well that’s actually a good question. I dunno actually” she said pensively. Laughing at his thoughts about muggles being excited to be able to do their shopping all in one place, she shook her head. "Some sell food, but it’s mostly clothes and furniture those kinds of things. It’s such a common thing for muggles, they don’t have a reason to be excited." Rolling her eyes at his logic, "Yeah and I’m McGonagall." Narrowing her eyes playfully as he called her mum she haughtily put her hands on her hips. "If I was your mum I’d have given you a good spanking, although for the kinky sod you are, I think she did enough of that. Well love, you win some you loose some." Laughing along with him she rolled her eyes. "I will not tell her that, believe me no one told me anything. I am naturally inquisitive; I recall it got me into some pretty interesting situations at school.” Kissing his cheek as he reassured her "And you’ll be a wonderful father, making the safety precautions. What an interesting family we’ll be."
Wrinkling her nose as he poked it warningly she raised an eyebrow. "So doesn’t stop Malfoy from being a prat. Besides your colors or not I want this to resemble something normal not something out of a dungeon. Of course I had nothing with that foul little loathso…” she trailed off, “I don’t like him, that’s all. Can we keep it neutral, no house colors?" she asked.

Regulus looked at her a moment, thinking, then mournfully shook his head. "No, Adriana, I've got absolutely no idea what a toaster does. I...I assume it...well, toasts things. But I've never even seen one." He didn't really like her casual dismissal of his request that she refrain from exerting herself. Regulus frowned. "Why don't you just tell me how to make it? Then you can have nutritious food, and I can have a lesson in being a muggle. Should be fun at least, wench." He jerked away from her fingers, trying not to giggle. Glaring, Regulus said, "You know you're the only one of the two of us that's training to be a mum." He backed a little ways away from her, to keep her fingers from tickling him again. "If you wanted to try knocking me up, though, I really wouldn't mind, love," he laughed.
"My questions are always good," Regulus said with a cheeky smile. "I suppose muggles would be excited about Diagon Alley, if they could see it. I guess I can try to behave," he said teasingly, "just to keep the muggles from noticing anything odd about us." Making a face, Regulus backed sharply away from her, not trying to hide the movement. "Don't, don't--oh bloody hell, I would never shag McGonagall. Ever," he whined. Regulus grinned when she started talking about spankings. "Oy, wench, if you wanted to practice being a mum, you only had to ask. And to clarify--I was never spanked as a child. Mum always had punishments that were much more...magical. Sirius got the worst of it--ask him sometime, my memories of mum's reactions are pretty skewed." Regulus smiled brightly when she promised not to give their baby suggestions. "I'm sure you'll do fine too, love." His worries about her misleading their child into a lifetime of table-diving dissolved temporarily when she kissed his cheek. "Adriana..." he said, trailing off and looking over at her, words failing him. Regulus still hadn't quite grasped the idea that they were a family now, that they were starting their very own family. That budding realization stopped his tongue, and he shook his head to dismiss the beginning of his statement.
"Green and silver aren't just dungeon colors, thanks. And the dungeons were bloody comfortable, wench. Which you know pretty well yourself." Regulus didn't want to argue though, beyond that small point. "Alright, no house colors. No red, blue, green, or yellow. Is the flat going to be purple, then? Or orange?"

Laughing at his mournful look she pat his head lovingly. "Yes a toaster toast things, but usually just bread like items." Rolling her eyes as he fussed over her she shook her head. "Because then it would mean twice as much work as you have never done it before and if you are making something like pumpkin juice it doesn’t really count as something muggle." Grinning as he jerked away from her hands, she rubbed her belly fondly. "I would like to think so, but who knows what odd fantasies you have stored in that head of yours love. I mean first the mood swings and cravings, you are keeping up with me." She teased. "I don’t think it would work that way love, I’d be the one that probably ends up pregnant again." she laughed.
"Not always" Adriana said warily, vaguely remembering the times his questions got them into some sort of interesting situation. "That’s all I ask love, we don’t want to alert anyone because you got excited about shopping" she said teasingly, "Well they might find us naturally a bit odd, being so young and me well...you know." Grimacing along with him, she shook her head. “bloody hell I never said you would, thanks for the visuals." she whined. Laughing as he turned what she said around. "Oh yes love, I forgot about your kinky fantasies. I don’t want to know what they did to you, otherwise your family would have a pretty hormonal pregnant woman to deal with, pretty skewed was the way you lot were treated." She said with a frown, knowing that she would march over to number 12 grimuald place and give Walburga a piece of her pregnant mind. "We’ll do fine." She corrected him, making sure that he had no worries. "Regulus." she said, questioning why he trailed off suddenly, she was left concerned at what he could possibly be thinking now.
"We aren’t in the Middle Ages anymore; there is no need for dungeons." She said finally. "hmm how about a mocha color, its warm and homey. I suppose if you mix red and green you’d get that kind of color."

Regulus brightened up when Adriana patted his head, grinning. "Can we get one when we're at the department store? And some bread? I want to see one when it's toasting things..." He stuck out his bottom lip. "It would too be a lesson in being a muggle. If I was going to do it regularly, I could just charm the kitchen appliances to work on their own. If you explain to me how to do it, then I have to learn how to use the stuff myself. I mean...at least with pumpkin juice, I'll have some idea of how badly I made it." He smirked. "Odd fantasies? Well, I could share a few, but they have absolutely nothing to do with the baby." Regulus gaped at her. "Can...can that happen? No, it can't. You're pregnant already, that means you can't be pregnant again until you're not."
Regulus made a face. "I didn't ask her to make me practice the cruiciatus. She told me that I had to meet her in the library, and it went downhill from there." He laughed at her. "We'll have to try ourselves out on the landlady, then. You know...make sure that we're presentable and everything. If they're going to find us odd already, it won't do any good to have our clothes messed up or...you know. I trust you, but perhaps a muggle test subject is a good idea." He shook his head, wincing as well. "No, you gave me the visuals, thanks." Smiling, Regulus said, "You forgot? Seriously?" To the rest of her statement he replied, "I don't mean that we were all treated in a skewed way, though we were. I mean...mum gave Sirius the worst of it, even when it was my fault, you know? End of story. No need to bother my parents...they're none too happy with me right now anyway. Having you turn up on the doorstep would probably only annoy them even more. Not that they disapprove of you...but...mum disapproves of you." Regulus shrugged. "You know, the same way she did when I brought you over...just worse now that we've run off together." He let her correct him, even though he was simply agreeing with her. Regulus didn't have any worries to begin with. "Nothing," he said. "Well, something. I love you," he added, smiling lightly.
He wrinkled his nose. "Beige? We're going to paint the flat beige? I would have thought you'd want neon orange or some other nauseating color."

Grinning, she shook her head humored by Regulus’s behavior. "Yes we’ll get a toaster over so that way it toasts more than just bread." Looking at him skeptically as he pouted, she debated how bad things would be if Regulus tried making anything on his own. "Yes and since you will be making things as a muggle, you would have to clean as a muggle too, are you willing to do that too?" Rolling her eyes at his smirk, she simply shrugged "Yes odd, and well yeah I still don’t want to know." She said in good humor. "No I can’t get pregnant while I am pregnant, although they did mention that sex stimulates the baby but they forgot to mention that a woman’s libido isn’t all that high when you are pregnant."
Nodding sympathetically, "I know you didn’t." Laughing along with him she pretended to straighten up her appearance. "Oh yes, nothing like wrinkled clothes to be a dead give away." She said with a laugh. "Still doesn’t matter, bloody awful they were at times. Having me show up at their doorstep would be the least of their worries. A pregnant woman with my range of hormones would not make for a happy reunion. I could give a bloody rat’s arse what your mum thinks of me, for someone who is trying to preserve a dying race she certainly is picky." Pausing to take breath in her rant she continued. "Well that’s her problem now isn’t it? She will die alone a very unhappy hag, no children and most certainly no meeting the grandchild. I will not have my child raised in that kind of environment." She said firmly, sorry that she was being difficult but she wasn’t going to shorten the lifespan of her child or boyfriend by introducing them once again into the world they were hiding from. "I love you too" she said softly.
Raising her eyebrow, "Not beige, I said mocha, its darker. Well I would have said something like that, but then with a baby around we are going to need something more calming."

"A toaster that toasts more than bread?" Regulus asked, confused. "But you just told me that they don't toast much more than bread. What else can you do with them?" He gave a long-suffering sigh, looking around the half-unpacked apartment. "I suppose I can clean up...seeing as there's not a house elf around. I could call Kreacher..." he trailed off, but he said it jokingly so that Adriana knew he wasn't serious. If he had to clean up, Regulus definitely would. It wasn't too much of a compromise for a lesson in muggle juice making. "Oh," he laughed. "Fine, wench. You know where I am if you need me, though," Regulus teased.
He snorted, looking her up and down. "I think you're a dead giveaway no matter what you do, Addie. I'm only given away by being around you." Regulus listened to Adriana's tirade about his family, not really upset by any of the things that she said about his family. "I wouldn't go back to them, either. I mean...Sirius ran away when we were still in school. It just took me a few years longer to figure out that the things mum and dad stand for...aren't good. If they'd had their way, I still would have been working for the Dark Lord...so there's no debate about it, love. Number 12 Grimmauld Place, for the time being, is not a place to bring children. In the unlikely event that mum kicks it and I return to visit dad, I'll keep it short. Most likely, Sirius and I will only set foot in the house again for our inheritences, you know? Even if they were beasts, mum and dad weren't poor." Regulus smiled at Adriana's soft reply, enjoying her company.
He nodded. "Alright, then we'll do it brown. If we have to. Sure you don't want a nice, light, calming green?"

"Of course you can toast more that just bread" She said with a roll of her eyes. "How ever its not wise to toast a lot of things as they catch fire and what not. With a toaster oven, you can make mini pizza’s sandwiches, garlic bread and bunch of things actually." Smiling crookedly as he overdramatically sighed. "I’ll give you a pillowcase to wear and some ears and you can be the house elf if you want one so bad..." she teased as he once again brought up Kreature. Grinning as she emerged victorious from their discussion she smiled brightly giving him a peck on the cheek. "Good love, Ill let you watch if you want to learn so bad, but id rather not risk disaster by letting you do it alone." she teased.
Furrowing her eyebrows, she looked at her pregnant self in a similar fashion as he did. "What makes me a give away?" she asked curiously. "Well that’s good love, id hate to even think about what would happen if you had to go back. Your dad was quite the charmer; I can see who you and Sirius took after. I doubt honestly that Sirius would step foot into that house again, but so long as you only go back when that old bat croaks." She said genuinely worried for Regulus.
He nodded. "It’s not brown, its mocha, very different colors. I don’t want any shade of green, No house colors." She said stubbornly

Seeing Adriana roll her eyes at him, Regulus let the subject of toasting various foods drop. If they were going to buy a toaster oven, he could play with whatever he wanted to shortly. He laughed at Adriana's next statement, envisioning himself in said pillowcase, tidying the flat. He shook his head. "If I thought we needed a house elf that badly, like I said before, I'd call Kreacher. He's always more than happy to do a favor for me. Even if you think he doesn't like you...which is completely and utterly untrue." Regulus frowned, not understanding for a moment, then laughed at her. "Oy, wench. I was talking about shagging, thanks. I have no idea what you were talking about...me letting you make pumpkin juice from scratch? Of course, me shagging alone would be a complete disaster, but I know that's not what you meant."
"Obviously, for you to look like that, love, we've been doing something that would make the neighbors blush a little bit." Regulus looked her over. "I think they'd have to know you personally to get any sort of witchy vibe from you," he teased. Regulus snorted when Adriana complimented his father. "Don't worry, it'd take nothing short than a pile of gold to make me go back for any extended length of time...leave a horcrux in there, maybe an important book or photograph...and I'd nip in and out in a heartbeat for it. Nothing's going to trap me there ever again."
Regulus nodded. "Alright, mocha then. Nothing blue, red, yellow, green, silver, black, or purple. No slipping lions and snakes into the fixtures, either?" he asked hopefully. "Mum's got a set of really intriguing sink handles in the third floor bath...look like little python heads, if I remember them correctly. I used to brush their teeth when I was a kid," he admitted with a smile.

After she said Regulus could dress up like house elf she envisioned it and laughed along with him. "Well then we shall live house elf free then, because Kreacher is not coming anywhere near me. Of course he’s always happy to serve his master, you forget I am not. You don’t see how is like when your not around, I try being nice to him and everything. He says I took you from your family and I am unworthy, the bloody prat." She said annoyed. Looking at him confused she raised an eyebrow questioningly. "What? Where did you get shagging from Pumpkin juice? Well I don’t even want to think of you shagging anything else, so it looks like alone is as much shagging as you’ll be getting for a while because I most certainly am not in the mood to shag now."
"Look like what?" She asked confused “You mean Pregnant? Well I needed to do something in order to get pregnant I suppose, its not like they haven’t done it.” She said with annoyance, remembering how incredibly nosey their neighbors were. "Possibly witch with a capital B maybe" she said good humored. Grinning at his snort she bit her lip to keep from giggling. "Good, again I’d hate to drag my pregnant hormonal self down there to rescue you and put some pureblooded relatives in their place."
Adriana nodded in agreement. "That is a negative" she said firmly. "Besides I would trust anything that was in your mother’s house, especially if she knew it would come here." she said smiling as he said he used to brush the snakes teeth.

Regulus shrugged one shoulder. "Alright, no Kreacher then," he agreed. "I'll have to hang around sometime in the distant future and see if what you're saying is true," he said pensively. It wouldn't be hard to catch the elf muttering to Adriana, if indeed he was muttering. Regulus trusted his girlfriend more than his former friend, though. Perhaps he could order Kreacher not to speak ill of Adriana ever again. "We were talking about whether or not you could get pregnant while you're pregnant, not pumpkin juice. After you told me that I was being too hormonal to be a bloke?" Regulus reminded her, amused. "And I know you're not, thanks again, we've been over this," he laughed.
He shrugged one shoulder. "I personally don't ever want to think about Mrs. Finch shagging anyone," he said, a distinct note of disgust in his voice. "If you want to envision our neighbors doing things like that, more power to you, love." Regulus shook his head at her joke. "If you had been a bitch ever in the time I'd known you, I'd be married to cousin Berne right now, watching our incestuous little Black children run about the house. I lived with enough of those at Hogwarts, Adriana. Didn't you ever think it was odd that I had absolutely no interest in Slytherin girls--even though my parents would have done back-flips if I had? You have your moments, love, but your better qualities far outweigh them." Laughing outright, he said, "I'd love to see you put some of my relatives in their place. And see what you thought that place was."
Regulus made a face at her. "Mum wouldn't intentionally put anything dangerous on fixtures I nicked from the house. I'm the one she likes, remember? I think when she realizes that both of her sons have become traitors to the blood, she'll finally kick it. Imagine the funeral..." he trailed off, thinking distantly of other Black family funerals he'd been forced to attend as a child, "you'd meet the entire family. And the food...and the guests...the Black family has some pretty powerful connections, you know. But I think the fact that mum's dead will be the best part..." He smiled at her smile, having shared the anecdote about the snake tap handles because he knew it'd make her laugh.

Looking at him skeptically she shrugged as well. "I’d rather not, but what ever you say love." she said. She knew it would be pointless to try an convince Regulus other wise, not that she hated the elf, but he certainly seemed to hate her. Laughing as he clarified what they were talking about she nodded. "Well then in that case, no to the former. Well you are, but I suppose it would be the bloke’s hormonal girlfriend to blame." She said sheepishly. "Well….meh" she said poking her tongue at him with a pout.
Wrinkling her nose she shook her head. "I don't want to think about Mrs. Finch shagging anyone either. Actually I could live without knowing anyone else’s shagging habits actually." Smiling brightly at her boyfriend. "Even so love you would have ended up with Berne anyways if it was up to your mum. Well I suppose I did wonder about that but to each his own." Grinning at his laughter she giggled herself. "Well given the opportunity I will do so love."
Raising an eyebrow skeptically at him she looked at him doubtfully. "Also, remember that you left the house and went into hiding with me. That may not be so far away if things keep up this way." she trailed off, thinking about the recent issues of the daily prophet, "Joy, the entire family.” She said sarcastically. There were certain members of the Black family she’d rather not see ever again in her lifetime and the next few and at a funeral such as Walburga’s that probably wouldn’t be the case.

"Since the likelihood of us being anywhere near Kreacher for the next year or more is slim to none, I don't think it's anything to lose sleep over," Regulus commented. He smirked when she began to respond to the things they'd already talked about. Adriana's laughter was one of the things that he loved most about her. The girls he'd grown up with...the girls in his house were too solemn, too dour all the time. She was a ray of sunshine in his life. "I know, love. The point of telling you what we'd talked about before was to clarify what we'd already been over." He leaned over and kissed the top of her head, laughing at her.
"I don't want to think about anyone else shagging either," he agreed with a smile. At the thought of the many things in his life that would have been different if they'd been left up to his mum, Regulus shivered. "Well, I'd say that out of the two options, I definitely chose the only one with the prospect for a future. A week with Berne, and I'd have either killed myself or been killed by her boyfriend," he said. Regulus laughed at her, saying, "Hopefully you don't have to any time soon, love."
"Mum would keel over dead if she knew about the baby," Regulus said gleefully. "Do you think we should invite her over once the baby's been born? Or maybe mail her a photo...in a few months? Spare the baby the memory of her grandmother?" He laughed when she unenthusiastically remarked on his vision of the entire family gathering for his mother's funeral. "Every single one, and probably my brother too. You do have to admit that hearing his commentary in one ear and mine in the other would be much more amusing than an afternoon of daytime television."
Regulus took a deep breath and stretched, reluctantly getting up. "Well, love, I'm going to finish unpacking everything and bringing up the last of our boxes...and then we'll worry about dinner." He leaned over and kissed her cheek, smiling slightly. "At least we'll only ever have to do this once," he said, in reference to the moving. Stretching out his arms and walking to the door, he glanced back at the love of his life, and their brand new home.
