The little park was cold this November morning, the daylight was fading fast. She did not want to be here, but her assignment was clear, as clear as the sky above. Stars shining brightly down on her dark hair as she came into the light of the little lamp. She moved slowly, he hand on her wand, in her deep soft pocket. She turned to look in the direction of the road, knowing that the one she was here for would come around this corner, and into the park. It had already been settled that this would be the location. The NeoDark Lord was clear on this matter. If he could not have his target, he would not allow her to be had by anyone else. Constance Vance pulled the little pistol from its hidden holster, and eyed the road.
Her full lips formed into a smirk as she knew that this would be the last place Adriana would ever place her eyes on. It was clear what needed to be done, and it was up to Constance to do it. She had seen the owl leave, with the little message that would send Adriana running, it was forged, and it had been from Sirius Black. The words were perfect, the writing unmistakable, and Adriana would think that Sirius was in trouble, and needed her. But she would also read that Regulus was not to know of this. It had to do with the New Dark Lord rising, and the attack on her by Snape and the secret woman who had saved their lives.
Constance had no doubt she would kill Adriana, there was little worry to it, but she also knew that it was more inconvenience for her to have this assignment than anyone else. She had wanted the couple to live that day in Knockturn Alley, for her own purposes. She figured that the NeoDark Lord had sensed this, and had given her the task of killing the woman because of it. They played a deadly game, one she was not so sure she had enough pieces on the table to win. She ran her hand through her long dark hair, and pulled out a little vial. The green liquid inside glistened in the starlight.
She uncorked the stopper and drank the potion. Making a slight sneer when she tasted the bitter liquid. Her eyes fell on the moon, full in its form, she nodded. It would be a long night, and now she was prepared. This time there would be no saving Adriana's life. Instead she would be forced to take it. Constance tossed the vial aside, and pulled her dark wand from her pocket. Both weapons were leveled at the road, the only entrance into this park.
As the swings creaked she stepped back, letting the shadows crawl over her, as her dark eyes went into a vicious shade of green. The magic was taking form, and her stomach did a flip as she began to smirk again. The target would not know what hit her, and never even see it coming. Constance sighed heavily, and waited.

Adriana’s eyebrows furrowed together as she read the letter over again, since she was sitting patiently in the living room while Regs dealt with Katie an unexpected letter was a great surprise, one that didn’t make much sense. Acting on impulse, she took advantage of Regulus’s distraction to head out; she grabbed her coat from the hanger and slipped on her boots before grabbing her wand and heading out the front door.
Her warm breath was visible in the frigid December air as she walked hurriedly to the park, her heels clicking rapidly much like her heartbeat as she got closer to her destination. Her gut told her to turn back, but she thought of Sirius. The man who was much like a brother, who would with out a doubt do the same if she needed. So many questions popped into her mind, like why didn’t he send a patronus? Not many people carried spare parchment much less an owl.
Pulling her coat closer to her body, Adriana hugged herself to maintain some body heat as she stood near a park bench. The night was eerily quiet now that her heels didn’t provide a disturbance, the bright stars suddenly didn’t seem so bright any more either. Gripping her wand tightly inside her coat, she silently cast Protego, even though it wouldn’t help against any unforgivable, it would give her enough chance to defend herself somewhat.
Hearing a creak of the swing made her jump slightly as the eerie silence was broken, an involuntary chill made its was through her. Glancing around she tried to pull out the shape of Sirius’s familiar outline but the overwhelming darkness prevented that. “Sirius? Sirius where are you? This isn’t bloody funny if you’re having a laugh at my expense; get your arse out of hiding so I can go before Regs or Katie notice anything.” She whispered almost frantically into the night air.

Constance saw the target and smirked as she heard her call out for Sirius, it made her warm inside to know that the target was so stupid to come out like this, after what happened in Knockturn Alley. It was going to be an easier job than she originally though. Her dark eyes, infused with green glow looked over Adriana and she sighed. Such a pity to waste such a good... body. Constance's tongue touched her lips moving across them lightly as she stepped out. It would be so easy to pull the trigger on the muggle device, and end it early. But she wanted to be seen first, wanted her to know who had killed her.
With a small click she cocked the gun, both the gun and the wand aimed at Adriana's chest. Constance stepped into the light, and tilted her head. She let her long dark hair slide over her shoulders as she moved forward. Her eyes locked onto the target, he smirk holding its pattern on her full lips. She moved with grace, and confidence.
"We meet again, stranger." Her soft voice was seductive as she was about to play out her next favorite passion. Killing. She pulled the trigger, three soft pops flying through the silence of the night, making birds call out and take flight to be away from the evil sound. The barrel of the small pistol flared into light as she shot at Adriana three times, letting the muggle device slid in her hands as she aimed straight. It would not be the first time she killed someone using this little item, and she smiled, showing her teeth as she watched the green flames sprout around the flying bullets.
They had been infused with the dark power the NeoDark Lord had given her, and their effects would be deadly. She wished she did not have to kill this one, but it was unavoidable. She had her orders, and would follow them. Follow them into death if this was what it took.

Adriana’s eyes widened at the sound of a click. Living in a Muggle neighborhood, that sound only meant one thing, a gun. Time seemed to slow down as her breathing became heavier, whoever cocked the gun, had no intentions of leaving without firing it. And to her knowledge there was no one else in the park but her and now the assailant. Swallowing with difficulty, she stayed in her position not moving an inch, hoping that for some miracle of Merlin the gun wasn’t pointed at her.
Hearing someone address her, she turned and faced the woman. The same woman who not to long ago saved her life, yet she stood before her now with a loaded gun and a wand. “We have yet to meet, but indeed you are a stranger.” She said quietly. The silence of the night was broken as the trigger was pulled and three consecutive pops were heard. Caught by surprise Adriana finally understood what it meant to see your life flash before your eyes. In the milliseconds it took the bullets to travel a lifetime of happiness, and love flashed before her eyes.
The bullets fired apparently weren’t normal bullets but laced with magic, one unfamiliar to Adriana but magic non the less she noted as her Protego was able to ward off the first bullet, was cracked by the second and finally penetrated by the third. The last bullet made its target as it buried itself into her shoulder so very close to her heart. The impact of the bullets force caused Adriana to stumble back a few steps before she was able to control her body. She didn’t know if it was the adrenaline rush or the overall numbness the wound gave her body but with wand raised pointed directly at her assailant she yelled. “Sectumsempra”

Constance's smirk fell from her face, as her insides seemed to be on fire. A large gash formed in her chest, traveling up to the nape of her neck. The shock from the bullets not killing Adriana faded as the shock of her own blood flowing from her wound made her glance down, eyes wide, and she fell to her knees, crimson flowing heavy to hit the icy ground. He wand remained in her hand, but the gun fell, as dead as she knew she might become if she did not act fast. She taped the wound, saying something dull in German, but that magic had failed her.
She knew then that the magic failed her, because she had failed in her assignment. Adriana lived, wounded yes, but still alive. Constance grunted and fell back, facing the sky, gurgling softly as the blood parted her lips in a dark pool. He unblinking eyes looked on the stars, and the pain was over coming her. She poked herself again, using a nonverbal, but the spell did not work, the magic falling from her mind as he own short life crossed her eyes, in a blink the world started growing dim.
She tried to focus her eyes, and glance to wards the woman she was suppose to kill, but had failed in doing so. Her mouth formed words, but the bubbles of blood stopped her voice from producing. If there was time, she would betray Severus Snape to this woman, and tell her what she could. After all, it was Severus who made sure the magic left her, and had not spared her life. She blinked twice, dropping her wand, she weakly motioned for Adriana to come closer. She could hardly move from the intense amount of pain, as the curse had split vital organs inside her.
She closed her eyes, unable to focus and see beyond the crimson flowing now into her face. The blood lose was immense, and the pain was even more so. She sighed, and spit blood from her mouth. She moved her head, using all her energy to look at the woman who should have been her victim, but instead has become her killer.
"Snape...." she whispered. Then her head fell back, hitting the icy ground of the park hard. She frowned, her bloody lips protruding softly in the starlight. She looked back in the direction of Adriana, no longer able to see her.

Adriana’s eyes widened as her curse met its mark. The damage the spell caused was not what she was hoping for. As the unknown woman slowly fell to the ground she felt frozen, her insides churning at what she had done. She was becoming that which she had set out to fight.
The numbness of the wound spread throughout her body and mind as she stood helplessly watching the woman drown in her own blood. Blood, so much blood had spilt and its copper smell filled the air. It made Adriana want to gag, anything to be rid of the smell that was so thick she could taste it.
Seeing movement from the woman, Adriana spent a second trying to decipher it when she realized she was calling her forward. Rushing to her side, Adriana knelt at the woman’s side debating on whether or not she could do anything to help her in the slightest way.
Hearing her whisper Snape, an involuntary chill passed through her that had nothing to do with the frigid temperatures. “What about Snape, you were the one who saved us at the apartment right?” She asked hurriedly.

Constance dim eyes fell onto Adriana, and she nodded, her head bouncing lightly on her chest, more blood bubbling from her mouth, frothing in the corners, moving down her chin as she tried to smile, but failed. Leaving a sneer on her lips, but not meaning any more malcontent. She had been betrayed by Severus, and knew this now. It was not Adriana he had intended to die, it was Constance, herself. This passed through her mind as she opened her mouth, pushing out a small flood of the crimson to try to speak.
She moved her arm, to rest it on Adriana, using her last strength to pull up her sleeve, showing the NeoDark Mark, much like the original mark, but with a deadly crossing of the knife marks, racing across the skull, to touch the head of the snake. Her eyes cleared and locked on to Adriana's. He mouth moved, her words a soft whisper as her arms fell limp to her sides.
"The NeoDark..." Blood bubbled, her eyes slide shut. "Lord." The last barely heard, her breathe failing her. Constance Vance lost consciousness, her world as she knew it went completely black.

A small pop and a cloud of green across the road from the little playground was all that announced that the dark cloaked figure had arrived. He had watched the events unfold and was pleased. Mostly because everything he wanted to happen transpired as he planned. However, he did not expect Constance to talk any, which was why he left his abode and decided to end this little game once and for all. His eyes landed on the two figures in the playground as he moved from shadow to shadow, floating lightly above the ground. His form was one with the shadow as his cloak flew out around him, almost like the wings of some sick angel that had fallen from its normal place, to be devoured by the darkness surrounding it. He smirked, face hidden under the long hood, his eyes resting on the figure standing over the fallen figure. Now was his time, and if it would be known that he did exist, he was going to have his fun in the process.
He glided across the street, knowing no one would see him until he wished to be seen, and floated easily over the little gate to come right behind the two figures. He glanced down to the bleeding form on the ground, no remorse for the time he had spent with her, in other activities. His mind did not think of such thoughts as he used a wordless spell, pointing his bleeding forearm at her, and watched her breathing suddenly stop, as he killed Constance Vance. His eyes moved up to the form looking down on the dead body, and he smiled to himself. Now he was prepared to do somethings he had longed to do, several times in the past.
He pointed his arm at the soft back in front of him, and used another nonverbal, not wanting to announce his appearance just yet. His eyes flicked as the spell to immobilize her flashed out and she was surrounded by a green mist, as his blood splashed on her. He glided around to let her see his form, much taller than Severus usually is, moving on eight foot, with two off the ground, the cloak flying out like dark wings as his eyes flashed green. He moved close to Adriana, and looked down on her. He spoke in German, giving her the biggest clue to who was now in front of her, wanting to taste her fear, consume it from her weak little body. He had her where he wanted her, and was going to do whatever he liked to her. He moved to float over the corpse, and reached a bony hand down to stroke Adriana's hair, noticing the bleeding wound in her shoulder where she was shot. He smirked, enjoying her pain. Wanting to inflict more.
He landed lightly on the icy path and kicked the body out of his way, letting it fall away from them as he leaned down, his hood falling off his head. It was obvious it was Severus Snape, but at the same time not entirely Severus Snape. His face had elongated, his eyes were a deep sickly green, his flesh pale as the inside of a rotten apple... his lips pulled back in a hideous grimace as his form transfered once again, allowing himself to form into his normal visage in front of her. If she already knew he was the NeoDark Lord, then he might as well take full advantage of her knowledge, which he was doing as he stepped forward, now completely in his own form.
Snape leaned down and flashed a smile to her, his hand at once going to stroke her chest, moving in a slow circle as he looked at her, his breath now coming fast, in quick icy clouds in front of his cold face. He ran a hand out and poked a finger into her bullet hole, bring it out and licking the tip to taste her liquids. It delighted him, sending a sick shiver up his spine to light on his green eyes.
"Now what shall we do with you?" He spoke with two voices at once, one was his, the other darker, deeper, as if two sets of lungs laid in his chest, his eyes resting on her, as he began to form a plan of action, one she might regret forever.
