Gabriel Hammer
Lines In The Sand
...Student From Durmstang...
........Former UnSpeakable........
...........Rogue Agent...........
.....Searching For A Killer.....
....Stalking The Night....
Bio: {The Early Years} Durmstang, home of the dark arts in a nation of ice, held many mysteries for a young Hammer child. Going into the school in his first year, Gabriel had already been trained from an over bearing father that pounded the discipline of the dark arts into his child's mind. His talent for the dark arts manifested during his early school career, being a strong gifted student in the art of transfiguration. His wand was never his only weapon. He carries a sling of items under his robe, or leather coat, that contains such varied items as clay, glass pellets, small stones, silver bullets, and even a ruby. These such items, Gabriel uses to transfigure into various forms of protection, or creatures to fight at his side. He has used these items at various times to get out of random encounters with the other students at Durmstang.
Virtually unheard of, Gabriel graduated the school two years before his peers. He was performing transfiguration spells that not even his teacher was able to perform. This made several different agencies take notice of the young man. One being the European Ministry of Magick. Gabriel was recruited into the Department of Ministries, a job he took to be away from his over bearing father. He wanted to see the world through his own eyes. Within a short span of time, Gabriel was hired into the Ministry of Mysteries as an UnSpeakable. A job he held for ten years.
Bio: {UnSpeakable Endings} The work was easy for Gabriel. He performed many executions for the Ministry. But the tedium occurred early on, his dark secret ways provided him with little in the realm of a personal life. Something he longed for, to get out of the shadows of his own lonely life. It was a Winter mission, the night was cold and the target was close. The fight got out of hand, and three of the members of his elite party were killed in the action. When the target was finally captured it was only Gabriel to face him. The explosion that left everyone thinking that the men were dead had gave Gabriel his freedom. He crept off into the night and let the Ministry believe he was dead.
Gabriel disappeared into the mountainside of his former home, and waited for three months to resurface. When he left his homeland, he did so for the final time. Searching out a place where he would be allowed to show his face, and not be noticed by any former members of the Ministry. He knows the price he could pay for his appearance could be death. The UnSpeakables do not leave behind witnesses, and there are not many former agents still living. This department has no retirement fund. Gabriel is always on the look out, and moving from place to place, in hopes of living his life without any notice from the Ministry. And, he has begun taking jobs in his former line of work from other wizards who enjoy the private transactions Gabriel provides. He is a hit man, a rogue agent, and a wanted man... should be be found.
Bio: {Currently} Gabriel has humble homes in London, Diagon Alley, Hogsmead, Scotland, Britain, Ireland, and various other small locations across this section of the globe. Mostly these are more flop houses, and safe houses than anything. Each location will hold what he would require to "hide out" for a small amount of time. Also located in these shelters would be a restock of his transfiguration items. His sleek black owl, Strider, can find him in any location and hold many non-traceable charms to make sure he can not be followed. It can usually be found perched high above Gringrott's bank in Diagon Alley, waiting for a contact owl to land in a little stall Gabriel rents. The stall has one worker who sells small trinkets of magic, but is also the center hub of contact for Gabriel when a contract is required.
The worker will reattach the contract page to Strider, whom then searches out Gabriel. The contract is usually paid for at the stall, and the money transfered to Gabriel by unknown means. No contract has ever taken longer than a week to fill, as Gabriel is very good at his chosen profession. He has been the last thing a target has seen on almost one hundred jobs, including those for the Ministry. No contract has been too big, nor too small. And his story continues....
